Mas Martinet is the mother project of all the other family projects. Created in 1986, alongside other adventurers who started working on the “Clos” wines idea in Priorat, it has been the central axis for the Pérez family and has involved every family member to date. Mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, cousins, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews… everyone worked on planting the vines, working them, building the winery and worked in the winery, bottling the wines, labelled them, travelled to sell the first vintages and all the other jobs that were needed to be done at the beginning. Since 2001, Sara Pérez has been in charge and all wines made at Mas Martinet have been certified as organically produced since the 2006 vintage.
