Contino Gran Reserva 2011 – 97 points(#20). “Lots of ripeness and richness, but there’s a floral and citrus undertone to the blueberries. Full-bodied and layered with beautiful, ripe tannins and opulent, light earthy character. Smoked meat and ripe berries at the finish. Chocolate, too. It’s soft and flavorful at the end. Drink or hold.”

Contino Viña del Olivo 2017 – 96 points (#28). “Sweet strawberries and cherries with radiant flowers on the nose. Really perfumed. Full-bodied with a deep, plush core of fruit in the center palate and loads of ripe tannins. It goes on for minutes and plays wonderfully off the ripeness and firmness. Drink or hold.”

Contino Reserva 2017 – 95 points (#36). “Aromas of chocolate, smoked meat and berries. Really perfumed and subtle. The palate is full-bodied with ripe, creamy tannins that show tension and poise. Mellow and fine. So silky and brilliant. Complex. Polished. Drink now or hold.”
